Cheques RIP
Posted by Cashzilla in banking, web on 16. Dec, 2009 | 1 Comment

This announcement comes after 350 years of cheque usage, however because of the use of credit, debit and contactless payment cards, alongside online shopping and banking, [...]
An in depth introduction

The excitement level at my induction to this fine, fine blog was a little less rapturous (…!) than I’d hoped, but I’m sure people will warm to me once they get to know more about me.
As I briefly mentioned, I’m no economics expert but I do have plenty of experience with money and how to [...]
A quick introduction

Hello, all. I’m MoneyRaptor and I’ve been invited here to help out poor Uncle Cashzilla. As he gets older he gets forgetful (see 2008) but hopefully that’ll be the last time anything of that sort happens… at least for a while. My money-roar may be closer to a whimper right now but once Uncle stops [...]

Long time no write. Bad dinosaur, bad, bad, naughty dinosaur. i have just returned from Spain visiting my cousin Ladon the never-sleeping, hundred-headed dragon who has been guarding the Garden of the Hesperides, for what seems like an eon now. One of the central tenants of writing a blog, is that you constantly update it. Trouble is that when life gets busy, things start to slide, and the next thing you know, it has been ages since you did anything worthwhile. The same problem can happen easily with finances, however both the real and the [...]

Google recently released a long awaited offering of Google Finance.
Yahoo and MSN have been offering similar services for some time. All the more similar due to at least one key ex-Yahoo! Finance member of staff, Katie Stanton, being involved with the new Google project.
Building on the existing Google News and Google Blog Search, this Google [...]

Cashzilla gets offered lead role in t.v production…
Posted by Cashzilla in lifestyle, web on 24. Nov, 2005 | No Comments
Ahem … ok not quite. But we were contacted by a t.v production company yesterday about our blog and the slightly unstable minds behind it (I’m speaking for myself Rich).
“Attempted humour”
Naturally there aren’t many personalfinanosauri out there, but we were chuffed to pieces to be spotted by t.v people.
You heard it here first people.
Autographs provided [...]
Terms and conditions – for article distribution
Posted by Cashzilla in web on 24. Oct, 2005 | 1 Comment
On another round of article distribution discovered two sites owned by the same person who have been readily accepting our articles – but publishing the content under their own name.Webnewswire.com and PressTrust.com are owned by Pooja Sharma and contain content from a variety of sources, including Cashzilla. I would strongly recommend not bothering with Webnewswire.com [...]
