There has been a lot of discussion in the press recently about critical illness insurance or critical illness cover and whether it’s worth the investment.
According to Channel 4, one in three people will suffer from cancer at some point in their lives, with a third of those developing cancer under the age of 65. These figures exclude other illnesses and Which? goes as far as stating that almost two-thirds of the population will develop a critical illness at some point in their lives. Not exactly a reassuring statistic.
